It's so easy to get caught up in work and the day-to-day madness of the current government, Bush lies, corporate greed, escalating poverty, war profiteering, daily bombings in Baghdad, etc...; life goes on and you suddenly realize you haven't taken the time to say hello to your favorite tree or flower in days.
