Christopher Hitchens v. Scott Ritter

My former colleague and Air America Radio host Laura Flanders is moderating what is sure to be a fiery debate between Christopher Hitchens, the man who abandoned the left and now vehemently supports the Iraq war, and Scott Ritter, the former marine officer who the CIA wants to silence.

Are you kidding? Hitchens doesn't have a chance. When was the last time he was in Iraq?

Not sure exactly, but he has been over there. I'm basing my comment on Hitchens performances against Galloway and others. The guy is a masterful debater, regardless of whether or not you agreee with his position.

Anyone know if this is going to be aired on c-span or whatnot?

True, he is ruthless...not sure if it'll be on c-span. I'll look into it.

Hitchens has been to Iraq at least twice since the beginning of the war. Afghanistan too. How about Ritter?

I think that after the election last week, with high sunni participation, Ritter's arguments are toast.
