The Best Magazine on the Newsstand

Unfortunately, the most current articles in Harper's Magazine are not available online, but it's well worth the price. Plus, this cover is a keeper.

Uh, yeah....impeach Bush. Like that'll happen.

I know it would mean taking away 99% of the Democrat's material, but besides Bush bashing I'd be nice to hear a few positive and creative proposals from the Dems.

Just a thought.

I know...unfortunately, it'll take a blow job.

It is a great magazine...in-depth articles that don't get old after a few months. It's the one magazine that I never throw away.

The Dems are all over the board...from Lieberman to Kucinich. There are a lot of good plans out there -- the problem is, they have a hell of a time getting press. Unfortunately, it takes more than a soundbite to explain them.

I'm actually sick of hearing, "the Dems don't stand for anything." What do Republicans stand for?
Taking away my right to choose
Telling my gay friends they can't marry, yet I can go to Vegas and marry a drunk guy in a McDonald's drive thru with Elvis in the driver's seat
Filing lawsuits to stop stem cell research
Spending over $240 Billion on a war based on lies ($100K/per minute)
Torture
Illegal wiretapping
chaos in the Middle East
$400 billion deficit
$5.25/hour minimum wage
No sex education
Budget cuts for veterans benefits, energy programs, housing, fuel, child care and nutrition plans for the poor and elderly
cuts for education and job programs

The party of the people.

"I'm actually sick of hearing, "the Dems don't stand for anything." What do Republicans stand for?"

...and then follows a long list of Republican evils -- not solutions or new ideas from the Democrats.

See what I mean?

no...I have little faith in the Dems who get the most press.

So, who has all the bright ideas that isn't getting press coverage?
